During my stay in Omegna, I found the town to be one of the most beautiful spots on Lake Orta, with its picturesque harbor where the waters gracefully turn north through the Nigoglia Canal. The pleasant breeze from the lake in the evening was a delightful touch to the serene surroundings.Exploring the area, I learned that Omegna is the only example of an Italian alpine lake emptying north towards the mountains, adding a unique charm to its geography. Strolling along the shoreline and lido, I enjoyed the tranquil ambiance while watching guests sunbathe and swim. The staff's attention to detail, such as offering car-boxes in a nearby garage on Via Mazzini and forewarning about potential noise, showcased their dedication to ensuring a comfortable stay. My experience in Omegna was truly enriched by these thoughtful touches.
